Cultivation of interoceptive (your body’s subtle internal sensing) awareness enhances our capacity to handle the shifting world we inhabit. A deepened awareness of what the body expresses invites greater choice and an enhanced ability for change— be it to breathe more deeply, move more freely, or feel more connected— reminding you of the inherent agency you have in your own health.
This will be a mixture of lecture and experiential practices to develop insight into the cues your body offers and expand your resources to maintain equilibrium. Journey through the body deepening your understanding of the anatomy and function of the nervous system, the vagus nerve and the polyvagal system. A concentrated exploration of many of the tools and techniques I share with my clients that aid feeling safe and connected in our body.
